• Balance: $125 due in cash at the start of class.

By completing the online portion first, you get more personalized range time and focused instruction. This way, you spend less time learning theory and more time mastering practical skills.

In the NRA Basic Pistol Course, you’ll learn essential handgun safety and shooting skills. Topics include safe firearm handling, pistol parts and operation, ammunition basics, and proper storage. You’ll also learn the fundamentals of shooting, range safety, and basic cleaning and maintenance. The course finishes with hands-on range instruction to build confidence and accuracy. After completing the class you will earn a NRA Basic Pistol Certificate. This official certification shows you successfully completed the NRA Basic Pistol training. It verifies that you understand safe handgun handling, shooting fundamentals, range safety, and basic firearm care. It also opens up more advanced training if you wish to continue with your training.
